Mark Cork has worked in marketing and communications for more than 30 years in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, on the agency side and client side. With this broad range of experience Mark brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the table. He is an expert at providing his clients with an unparalleled strategic resource to help them define and meet their business goals. For more than 13 years he worked at two of Kansas City’s leading marketing agencies, working with clients like Pfizer, AstraZeneca, John Deere, Cessna, Bayer, The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City, Presbyterian Church USA, and many more.
He also owned Ballyhoo Productions, a firm which focused on event and video production, as well as providing branding, communications, and marketing services for his clients. During that time, Mark was also the on-camera talent in a number of video productions for the nonprofit industry.
Most recently he has served as Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Northwest Nazarene University in Boise, Idaho, where he led a team of 12 marketing professionals. His accomplishments include strengthening the University’s brand, raising awareness within target audiences, establishing consistent messaging across all channels, and acting as the University’s Public Information Officer. He has also filled a variety of communications roles within the global Church of the Nazarene and pastored in the local church.
Throughout his career Mark has consistently been a leader who is passionate about creating and accomplishing a shared vision and creating a culture of positivity and success. He’s someone who leads up, down, and laterally with the intent of building relationships that make a difference. He inspires his teams to be both productive and passionate about their work. His strategic leadership helps clients and team members make connections, bring clarity where there is confusion, make abstract ideas relevant, and unite people around a goal or cause. He understands that appreciating people and their contributions is not only important, it is critical.
Mark began his education at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. He has also taken graduate courses at Point Loma Nazarene University and holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Formation from Northwest Nazarene University. His wife of more than 40 years is Jacque (Cook) Cork and they have 3 married children and 6 grandchildren.

Jacquelyn Cork is a seasoned communications professional with over 30 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, copywriting, branding, and graphic design.This combination of skills and experience makes her uniquely qualified to communicate with diverse audiences in ways that are transparent, authentic, informative, and compelling while delivering on her clients’ goals.
Jacque has worked extensively in the nonprofit space. Her clients have ranged from higher education institutions, to fundraising organizations, to brands who are driven to make the world a better place. With her background in both writing and design, she is a gifted storyteller who also excels in developing integrated communications strategies.
Most recently, Jacque has served as executive director of Dignity Freedom Network (DFN), a US-based nonprofit that serves at-risk children and women in India through access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. She led the organization through a complex rebrand, including a name change, and multiple security challenges related to faith-based charities in India. Previously, Jacque served as senior communications editor and media spokesperson for the Church of the Nazarene Global Ministry Center in Kansas City. She was also a public school teacher with an emphasis in English instruction and gifted and talented education. Her agency experience includes design and creative direction as well as content creation. In ministry, Jacque has served as a church planter and lay ministry pastor.
Jacque has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University, an Education degree from Ottawa University, and a Master’s Degree in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from the University of Kansas.
Jacque and her husband, Mark, are the owners of Whitespace, a marketing and communications firm that specializes in providing fractional C-suite services to a variety of clients. They have three adult children and six grandchildren. They live outside of Boise, Idaho and love traveling and exploring Idaho in the family Airstream.
